Celebrate the Holidays with Volunteering & Play Time!

Posted on Nov 03, 2017

The holiday season is here, and the team at Monkey Joe’s Katy has put together two ideas that will make the holidays that much better! Celebrate the season by discovering new ways to volunteer and bringing your kids to Monkey Joe’s Katy for some unstructured fun!

Volunteering in Your Community

Your community—the place you work, live, and play—is able to thrive when people volunteer their time. If you are one of the many people who want to better their community but don’t know where to start, simply ask yourself what you’re passionate about.

Do you love hanging out with animals? Volunteer at an animal shelter. Do you love serving people food? Volunteer at a soup kitchen. Do you enjoy reading and discussing books? Volunteer at your local library.

A plethora of organizations love (and need) outside help. Plus, this is a great time to teach your kids about the many ways to volunteer in your community! Are you looking for even more ways to volunteer? Check out these ten ideas!

Unstructured Play at Monkey Joe’s

Bring your kiddos to Monkey Joe’s Katy for a day full of bouncing fun. They will weave through obstacle courses, jump on wall-to-wall bounce houses, play fun arcade games, and munch on delicious concession stand food while you enjoy relaxing in our seating area. This time of unstructured fun will help de-stress your kids from their lengthy schoolwork and ready them for the upcoming holiday season.

Check out our holiday hours! We can’t wait to see you soon at Monkey Joe’s Katy.
