Family Fun for Fall in St. Louis!

Fall is officially here! As the temperatures even out and the leaves turn, it’s the perfect time for families to get together and enjoy all the great seasonal activities St. Louis has to offer. Check out some of our favorites!

Have you ever visited a corn maze? Not only are they a fun and challenging way to spend some time getting exercise, but they support local agriculture and help kids learn about where food comes from. Most corn mazes are on farms, which often include petting zoos, hay rides, and other fun activities! Be sure to dress appropriately--high heels, sandals, etc. are not a great choice.

Another great part of fall is the delicious treats. Why not go apple picking? Gather enough apples for all the pies, cobblers, and even cider you can handle this season. And don’t forget about picking your own pumpkins to make Jack-o-Lanterns! Visiting a pumpkin patch means you often get to buy direct from the people who grew the pumpkin, or help support a good cause with your purchase.

When you’re ready to celebrate Halloween, St. Louis is the place to do it! Whether you’re interested in family-friendly events or scary attractions, there’s something for everyone going on. Don’t forget to start gathering your costumes early--the last thing you want is to be fighting the crowds at the costume store two days before Halloween!
