June Is National Safety Month

All for Fun and Fun for All

Did you know that June is National Safety Month? The most important safety features at Monkey Joe’s take place behind the scenes. We have video surveillance, we carefully clean and sanitize our playground, and we train our team to be alert and responsive to problems. But in the end, it’s up to parents to ensure that their kids play safely and have fun. Don’t worry: we have some simple tips for playground safety.

5 Tips for Playground Safety

  1. Set your eyes on high. Is the sun beating down with no clouds in sight? It’s time to take summer play indoors. Heat safety is a crucial part of keeping kids safe. Come to Monkey Joe’s where we have four walls, a roof, and cool, blessed air condition.
  2. Keep an eye on the kids. The Monkey Joe’s Pointe Orlando team is around for extra supervision, but there are a lot of kids and only a few of us. It’s up to each parent to keep an eye on their children as they bounce around the Jungle. We have a designated parent area with free wifi. Take advantage of the opportunity to snap a pic for Facebook.
  3. Teach your child to play well with others. Crowding, shoving, or hitting will ruin everyone’s good time. Teach your kids to play nicely with others and take turns on slides and jumps. Ask older kids to be careful of the little ones, and have your toddlers play in the Mini Monkey Zone.
  4. Wear the right stuff. Socks are a must at Monkey Joe’s, but you’ll also want to dress your kids in clothing that’s loose or stretchy so they can bounce around with no inhibitions.
