Raising Their Self Esteem with Monkey Joe’s

Posted on Jun 06, 2016

Helping your kids develop positive self-esteem is one of the challenges of parenting. Kids who feel good about themselves typically end up being happier and doing well in school, along with being more socially well-adjusted. In addition to providing regular encouragement, you can also boost your kid’s self-esteem with visits to Monkey Joe’s Lexington. Our indoor playground offers more than fun memories and a break for mom and dad.

Social Interaction

Parents looking for fun things to do with kids can bring them to Monkey Joe’s, where they can run and jump on a variety of giant inflatables and trampoline. While they’re burning off energy, they’ll also have a chance to meet other kids in their age group. Our indoor playground accommodates kids who are 12 and under, and with a wide variety of kids to meet. Your kids will learn how to share, take turns and build other social skills that can increase their self-esteem while playing with others.

Accomplish Goals

Your kids can get a sense of accomplishment from challenging themselves on our obstacle course. As they climb around and make their way through the different parts of this course, their self-confidence will get stronger. You can give their self-esteem an even bigger boost by rewarding them with a treat from our concession stand (Hot Pocket, anyone?) when they successfully complete the course.

Work on Being Independent

The inflatables and other attractions at our indoor playground are designed for kids only. That means your kids will need to explore these on their own instead of having you with them. This setup encourages your kids to become more independent, which helps raise their self-esteem.

Keep in mind that Monkey Joe’s in Lexington has plenty of other fun things to do with kids to enjoy such as concessions, arcade games, trampoline and more!
