Keep the Kids Entertained This Winter Break at Monkey Joe’s Lexington

Winter break is a great time to be a kid. There’s no school, you get presents under the tree, and you get to spend time with family! At Monkey Joe’s Lexington, we know that all that free time can drive parents a little nuts, though! When your kids start driving you up the wall this winter break, try these fun activities to keep them entertained.

  • Have a Craft Day – Making crafts with your kids can be one of the most fun (and funniest) things you’ll ever do. We’re always amazed at how creative kids can be. They can turn a simple craft activity into a master class of uninhibited creation. The important thing to remember is to keep crafts fun and simple. The kids will take care of the rest.
  • Take a Mini Family Trip – Day trips and family adventures over the holidays can create lifelong memories. Even a simple day trip to pick up holiday decorations can be awesome. Spend the day picking out fun decorations then come home and put them up in your yard as a family! No matter what you do, just spending quality time with your little ones can make a memorable day. You may even start a new holiday tradition!
  • Check Out the Holiday Lights – Since the sun goes down so early these days, you can pile the family into the car and take a drive around town looking at everyone’s holiday lights and decorations. It’s a fun and magical experience to see the holiday spirit in action throughout your neighborhood.
  • Schedule a Playdate! – Gather up the children and come to our bounce house and indoor playground for a day of bouncing, sliding, and wild fun! We always accept walk-ins and the party never stops. Playdates are a great way to get the kids out of the house and helps them burn off some of that pent-up energy.
