Beat Blurry Pics with These Tips

Posted on Apr 27, 2017

Don't Miss a Moment

Your kids have plenty of energy, and there’s no better place to bounce it all away than at Monkey Joe’s. Our indoor playground has wall-to-wall inflatables where kids can jump, slide, and play the day away. With so much fun to be had, parents are going to want pics. Beat the blur with our best tips for taking action shots on your smartphone.

How to Take Action Shots of Kids

  1. Go wild. Unless you’re running low on storage space, you can take as many pics as you want. You’re sure to score some great shots, and you don’t have to worry about filtering out the bad ones until you’re ready to post pics on social media.
  2. Use burst for big energy. Are your kids going bananas? Use the burst feature to capture the perfect picture. Burst mode lets you snap a series of pics without pause. All you need to do is aim, focus, and hold down the shutter button—your phone will do the rest!
  3. Focus. Auto focus is a great feature, but even the best smartphones can get confused. Instead of accidentally honing in on a Monkey Joe’s staff member, another person’s kid, or something colorful in the background, get clarity where you want it by tapping the screen to focus on your child.
  4. Be ready for anything. The patient parent gets the best pics! If you wait until something fun happens, you’ll miss the moment while you scramble for your phone. Keep your camera at the ready if you want to take a great action photo.

Did you capture the perfect pic? We’d love to see! Tag Monkey Joe’s Lexington when you share the image on social media.
