Homeschool Events in Northern Virginia

Posted on Feb 05, 2016

Looking for local homeschool events in Northern Virginia? You're in luck, because Monkey Joe's Dulles has an exciting new event that is perfect for homeschool families in Sterling, Reston, Ashburn, and other NOVA communities!

We're excited to announce a brand new monthly promotion kicking off here in Sterling, VA next week: Home School Half Price Special

NOVA Home School Discount

So what is our Home School Half Price Special exactly? Here are the basics:

  • Who: Homeschool kids in Northern Virginia
  • What: Half price admission
  • When: The second Wednesday of every month, starting February 10th, 2016, from 10 am to 2 pm.
  • Where: Monkey Joe's Dulles, indoor playground and party center, located in the Overland Drive Shopping Center in Sterling, Virginia.
  • Why: So many reasons! Read on for more information.

Why bring your kids to this monthly NOVA homeschool event? Well, for starters your kids will have a blast jumping, climbing, sliding, and playing in our inflatable indoor playground. In fact, they'll be having so much fun they probably won't even realize they are fulfilling the Virginia State PE requirement!

It's also a great opportunity to connect with other homeschool families. Let's face it, while homeschool has many advantages, it can also be a challenge at times to find other parents who are dealing with the same challenges and experiences. While the kids enjoy hours of active, physical play and make new friends, you can get to know other homeschool parents, trade teaching tips, share ideas, and even learn about other local homeschool resources you may not have been aware of.

During the event we'll be offering free coffee refills, so get ready for a nice cuppa Joe and some good conversation! We can't wait to see you and your kids at this brand new event. And of course, the more the merrier, so spread the word to your homeschool group or co-op. For more information about our facility, check out our FAQs.
