Winter Playdates Made Easy!

As a parent, you want to have things for your child to do during the winter months. It’s not like any other season where you can have them go outside to play. This is the time when you don’t see them playing with their friends as often and you don’t want them to stay in the house and begin to go stir crazy. That’s why it’s nice to be able to have your child go on a playdate. It's a great idea to have them do a playdate with some of their friends; you can’t exactly schedule one outside. That’s why it’s a good idea to let them come to Monkey Joe’s in Coral Springs!

When you set up a playdate here you know all you have to really do is call the other parents and schedule a time that you will meet. Once that is done all of your worry and cares should be eliminated. We know exactly what needs to happen to make sure they all have a great time. Here are some playdate planning tips that will help you get things coordinated!

• Invite who your child wants. You don’t want to try to figure out who your child wants to play with. Ask them, they’ll be happy to tell you who they’d like you to call.
• Know they won’t spend the entire time together. The beauty of a playdate here is that we have so many things that kids love to do, there’s bound to be a point that they won’t want to do the same thing… that’s okay, it happens. A lot of times kids will play in the same area but not necessarily with each other all the time.
• Have a good time. It’s not just for the kids, but you too!
