Guide to Giving the Greatest Gifts

Posted on Dec 04, 2017

Ready or not, Christmas is coming! If you’re still struggling to find a gift for the kids in your life, let Monkey Joe’s Coral Springs help with our Kid-Friendly Gift Guide!

  • Things to Read. Books, comic books, and even magazine subscriptions are the gift that keeps on giving. Talk to kids about their interests, talk to parents about what’s allowed, and talk to librarians about what they recommend. You can even make a day of it by taking kids to the bookstore to pick out some books of their own.
  • Frequent Jumper Cards make a great gift! Not only does it give kids the gift of bouncing in the Jungle, is also gives parents the gift of saving money on active fun and an easier bedtime after kids are worn out. For added brownie points, offer to take grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. to visit Monkey Joe’s while parents run errands or relax at home.
  • Avoid Pitfalls! There are certain things you shouldn’t give children for Christmas: fragile or, luxurious gifts they can’t take care of, toys that make noise (think of the poor parents!), extremely large gifts, and, above all, pets. Never give live animals as a gift!

Whatever you choose, remember that it’s the thought that counts. When in doubt, don’t be afraid to ask what kids are interested in! Whatever it is they’re most excited about right now, they’ll be willing to tell you. Then you can chat with parents, grandparents, and other adults to coordinate your gift-giving strategies. From our family at Monkey Joe’s Coral Springs to yours, have a wonderful holiday!
