Our Three Favorite Fall Themed Birthday Parties

I don't know about you guys, but we're super excited for the cooler fall season! Between apple cider, pumpkin patches and crisp fall air, there's a lot to be excited about. We love getting into the fall spirit, and if your child has a birthday party in the fall, there's no better time to get festive! We're sharing a few of our favorite themed party ideas the kids will love. We'll offer tips for food, games, crafts and more.

Pumpkin Party 

  • Fall is the perfect time to find some new snacks and desserts! This pumpkin spice puppy chow is a great option for goodie bags. 
  • For crafts, pumpkins will be your best friend. Use them for carving, painting, or cut out pumpkins on construction paper and attach buttons. 
  • Incorporate pumpkins into your games as well! Try a ring toss on the stems, a large tic tac toe with pumpkins, or switch it up and bob for apples. 
  • There's a ton of fun templates out there for pumpkin invites. This one is a good favorite!

Monster Bash

  • A monster theme is colorful and fun! We've found a ton of clever recipes for monster cupcakes to try. 
  • Put a twist on pin the tail on the donkey, and instead you can pin the eye on the monster. Feed the monster is also a great option. 
  • Pinterest is full of fun monster arts and crafts. This bookmark craft is great because they can use it all the time!
  • For invites, all you need is googly eyes and colored paper and you're good to go. Use this as your inspiration. 

Wizard/Witch Party

  • Whether you go the Harry Potter route or the Hocus Pocus route, there's a lot of variety with this theme. For food, try out these melted witch cookies. 
  • For crafts, have the kids create their own magic potions, make their own wands or have the birthday boy or girl present a magic show to their guests. 
  • Rework classics like musical chairs to musical broomsticks, pin the broom on the witch, etc. 
  • There are tons of options for invites. Make it colorful and unique!
