There's nothing that gets a classroom of kids more excited than a field trip! Whether for school, day care, summer camps, or any other organization, Monkey Joe's is the place to go for field trips kids will love and remember for years to come.

We can accommodate groups of all sizes, giving kids hours of active play in our indoor playgrounds. Our wall to wall inflatables encourage kids to jump, bounce, slide, climb, crawl, and play, all in a safe, indoor environment. As much as kids love running wild in Monkey Joe's inflatable jungle, grownups love the convenience and safety. No more worrying about sunscreen, heat, bug bites, or escapees; your group can play to their hearts' content while the grownups supervise in a contained, indoor space.

Want to reward your class with a job well done, break up the day care routine with a fun outing, or add some excitement to your day camp activities? Check out these tips for making your field trip a success!

Plan ahead.

As any parent knows, going places with kids can be a challenge. Fortunately, planning ahead will make wrangling your group much easier. The bigger your group, the farther ahead you should plan, from making a reservation for the group to letting parents know of your plans. It's important to give them plenty of time to look over permission slips and return them to you so everything will be squared away on the day of the field trip. You'll also want to make sure you know of any special needs your students may have and any medications they need, from food allergies to inhalers.

Prepare the kids.

Make sure you don't just discuss the field trip with parents; it's also important to prepare students, scouts, or campers for their field trip ahead of time. It's easy for things to get lost in the hustle and bustle of a field trip, so remind kids to leave their toys, games, and electronics at home. You'll also want to let students and parents know how they should dress the day of. Remember, socks are mandatory at Monkey Joe's! Kids should wear comfortable clothes that allow them to be active.

Choose a healthy activity.

Kids are supposed to get at least one hour of physical activity every day, but unfortunately many are not meeting that daily quota. Choosing an active field trip is a good way to liven up the normal recess/free play routine at your day care or camp. The kids will be so excited by our colorful, bouncy inflatables that they won't even realize they're getting some great exercise!
